IN A DIFFERENT WAY

Green technology

We have identified fused filament 3D printing as our manufacturing solution, in fact it reduces design time and allows us to produce our designs on demand, avoiding storage and waste of resources.

NATURAL MATERIALS

Sustainable materials

PLA is a sustainable bioplastic made from renewable natural resources such as corn starch. We use this filament to make our different inversion lamps.

FINISH

Layer Version

For this version we use colored filaments, without the addition of varnish. This allows us to enhance the texture of the printing layers more.

Finish

Natural version

The PLA used is composed of about 50 percent wood or stone dust, which is derived from waste from other processing. Because of this, the appearance of the lamps remains natural, with no added varnish.

ALBORE DESIGN

Be inspired

One of our greatest challenges is to give a language to each of our creations. Form and function are intertwined in an essential design that creates a strong physical and emotional interaction.

ALBORE DESIGN

About Us

We first encountered 3D printing about 8 years ago and were immediately fascinated by its endless formal possibilities.

Then we shifted our attention to the possibilities that 3D printing offered at the production level, and so we created our first collective: ZM Design Lab.

This first experience allowed us to launch the first product and to improve the entire production process, leading to the creation of a real sustainable design brand, through which we want to present the advantages of an alternative production method.
