GREEN PROCESS

REDUCE WASTE

Albore operates in the field of digital fabrication through 3D modeling and printing. We use cloud networks to share files and designs, testing aesthetics and functionality of parts through rapid prototyping with FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) technology.

Our process saves time and resources, speeding up the project, and significantly reduces the energy used.

STOP UNNECESSARY INVESTMENTS

CUSTOMISATION ON DEMAND

3D Printing allows us to offer customised parts on demand, which would not be possible with traditional production methods where a minimum batch size is required to make the cost-efficient production.

This benefit also translates into a lower overall carbon footprint, considering that warehousing contributes significantly to logistics carbon emissions, up to 13%.

OUR MATERIALS

DIFFERENT MATERIALS FOR DIFFERENT SOLUTIONS

We use next-generation filament 3D printing for our prototyping and production processes. The range of materials is very wide, and depending on your needs, you can choose the most suitable one. The basic material is PLA, made from corn starch, with all its variants having different mechanical and aesthetic characteristics.

Then for functional parts stressed y heat or wear, we recommend 100% recyclable PET-G, with the same strength as ABS but eco-friendly.

SPECIAL REQUESTS

3D PRINTING SLS

For special requirements, such as nylon prints with very complicated formal characteristics, we can also benefit from a collaboration network that allows us to exploit this type of 3D printing technology: Selective Laser Sintering (SLS).

The laser sinters the powder particles to form solid structures, thus utilising only the powder needed to make up the model. Once print is finished, the unusued powder can be used for further processing, greatly reducing waste compared to traditional technologies.

ALBORE X TERRANOVA

TERRY BEAR IS 3D PRINTED

For this collaboration, we took care of finding a sustainable solution for our client. From consulting on the choice of technology and materials, through to the 3D modeling of their 'Terry' bear.

After a quick prototyping of the models, in order to understand their cost and size, we printed a batch of these items, which were then flocked and placed in the brand's shops.
